In the secular liberal framework no, because a church is like any other business or organization to them

I believe it's acceptable and the logic behind not taxing churches is solid to me

Most churches arent megachurches trying to influence policy

as much as i'm not religious i wouldn't want churches to be taxed

it's difficult as is to run a religion run purely based off of donations

I dont even believe in religion and I respect their right to practice their beliefs

Churches add to social cohesion which is worth the lost tax income. At least in principle.

Exactly, having to not pay taxes lets them survive and function. That function is worthwhile for the government
