kind of a stretch to say i do it "whenever" i refer to them
because that was the stage at which the "skeptic" online community was at when i was into it, and i'm guessing it's still like that now
well when you refer to atheists, you had reffered to a stereotyped version of them.
what about anthony flew, who has argued against christians for 50 years and at age 81 declared that God exists?
did he not think hard enough?
did he ever think about what he argued for?
well if he spent half a century debating it i'm sure he did
you're free to read up on him before making assumptions
if you're the sort of guy that's not in the "stereotypical youtube skeptic" atheist community i'm astounded that you don't know who anthony flew is
clearly not. Or, maybe he thought about it like he was told to. Like it was proven, as truth, that there should be no debate about it. Like you were.
this sort of arrogance is to be expected from someone who rejects God
alright, i'll give it to you
you're right and you thought harder than flew, who thought about it for 50 years and was one of the most promiment atheists of his era
the sheer of lack of self awareness oyu have is said. 'Ill be right back,
@Draško what religion are you?
@moira read this
it combats the argument 'but who created god?'
Ill read that
it's a stupid argument
why would He be
the entire point of the argument is that an external being was the first cause
i don't know how this flies over people's heads
quick question: why does God not do any miracles anymore, or anyone else for that matter? why'd miracles die out as we got more informed, better in the ways of science and document things more?
God does miracles all the time
Christians don't deny the miracle-doing of God
at least the members of the Church
swss
what does that mean?
ok, so explain why back in Jesus Days, mircales were turningk,what was it, 5 bread and 2 fish into enough food to feed essentially a small army, but nowadays it's just passing a test you likely studied for anyways.
Jesus was the literal manifestation of the Son on Earth, and He came here to establish the new testament. Of course He is going to perform amazing miracles. Miracles of this kind still happen from time to time, like Medjugorje, but they're definitely more rare.
so why has god not sent down someone else to cleanse us, once again, of our sins, if he could do it back then
is that of me to ask? ask Him
John 20:29
well if Jesus has cleansed ALL our sins, why do you still put so much effort into converting people? God loves *all* of us, regardless of our faith, so why do I have to 'accept him as my savior and ask forgiveness' ? Shouldn't I be cleansed of my sins nonetheless?
a hardened heart runs in the face of truth. have you read the Gospel?
you're now arguing something that i don't think you have an understanding of
i could explain it to you but i think @Eoppa would do a better job so i'll kindly ask him to
well he can
