Jesus was the literal manifestation of the Son on Earth, and He came here to establish the new testament. Of course He is going to perform amazing miracles. Miracles of this kind still happen from time to time, like Medjugorje, but they're definitely more rare.

well if Jesus has cleansed ALL our sins, why do you still put so much effort into converting people? God loves *all* of us, regardless of our faith, so why do I have to 'accept him as my savior and ask forgiveness' ? Shouldn't I be cleansed of my sins nonetheless?

well, if I seperate myself from him, why doesn't he try to get me back? After all ,he loves all of us, why owuldn't he want me to believe in him and repent? And, if he loves us all, why doesn't he wipe away our sins without us believing in him?

because sinning isn't just a label that get puts on you and can be removed just like that. sins are objective acts that we can and do perform. jesus' sacrifice doesn't make these actions not bad, it just means that we can be forgiven for them
