Same again Jim blunted emotions or something
it's not that i feel nothing. i'm pathetic with animals
but i have a really hard time relating to people
Music makes me tear up more than movies tbh
I feel a lot when it comes to dealing with people but I feel nothing when it comes to things like funerals/deaths, tragedies, events, etc.
I know people who cry when they're happy which I find weird
I feel shit way too strong. Like my emotions are so close to the surface, it's like shit's too loud
I used to have a parrot that was older than I was and it died on a ceiling fan one day. Broke my heart. @Jim
Cow says my heart is too big.
I mean when I was younger I had a cat at my grans and went there one day and the cat was dead and my reaction was oh
It's a skill, just gotta develop a thick skin
I was fucking sobbing when we had to put our cat down.
Like carrying home the empty cat carrier was just...the worst experience
Not that I didn't love the cat though tigger was great
Aw. :( sorry to hear that.
We were in the vets and she couldn't even lift her head off the table, me n my mum just looked at each other and burst into tears because we knew we had to
Sorry you had to go through that
Wait Manchester? I thought you were from Surrey
I'm from Surrey, in manc for uni.
Aaah
Every kid has a pet who dies, would help if some empath had written a book on how they dealt with it 🤔
No one experiences grief and loss in the same way.
you just get over it
Time tbh.
Yeah coping mechanisms are good to have though.
Yeah so, put that in
You'll be sad for a while. Then in time the times when you're sad get further apart, until the memory of them doesn't cause sadness from their loss, but happiness for their time with you.
Deep
Death sucks but its inevitable and greiving is a necessary proccess to get through it
Death hits everyone. Family, friends. You're gonna have to deal with it at some point.
I lost both of my parents and it always helps to think of the good times. @coattailsandbowties
Be happy it happened
Not sad that its over

Still can't get over my great grandma and it's been 5 years.
My wife always said that to me when she was in hospital
Never

With what?
