The 1920's Chicago was good
I still need to go to Orania
my dad is a yster
gentle giant
@AfrikanerKnight just been there, I was a bit disappointed
You guys like Orania better than Kleinfontein
Why is that?
really? that's sad to hear 😦
sure, I don't really know. just saying it's more like rampant gangsterism (certainly in cape town) interspersed with rapidly deteriorating racial situation between the communists and everyone else (they hate black people that argue how stupid legalized theft will be for the economy)
why Tanja?
Orania is big right?
pop. 1500 ?
Land wise
land size only 80sqkm
loads of space for expansion around it though ? if you can get water
water is the big problem
if lesotho decided to revert the orange river......
it probably wasnt more dangerous to be in chicago in 1920 than to be a frontline soldier in iraq..
which it is in SA
SA farmer*
you're like those guys posting the coffin guy on facebook
To all the capetonians...😋

lol
nice
more like defensible mountains
I don't think we are talking about too much but I was just interested in the situation
Ditsem! @AfrikanerKnight, you just advanced to level 2!
i'll start walking around in my browns.
that'll scare the hell out of them
@AfrikanerKnight they've achieved a lot with little to no financial backing, they do everything themselves but the people still have to pay taxes to ANC. But it wasn't planned very well, there is no order, like, if you start a town you begin in the center and spread out from there, in Orania the shops are scattered, there's no structure I think it has to do with the fact that they started with a small patch of land and bought more land when necessary. The houses aren't pretty and they are now building more houses with small erfs. Which makes me think of townhouses.
"gatvol" means "fed up", by the way..
Afriforum
@KoninginTanja one needs to start somewhere
when pretoria started it wasn't pretty
@KoninginTanja that's really sad to hear, you think they would put more effort into building the town to be aesthetically pleasing and also adhere to our culture.
Exactly @theeChristopher but it was rich in minerals, Orania doesn't.
Jip that's why I say, that area of South Africa is not our future
cannon fodder
We need to find our own place in South Africa. Where we can grow our farms and segregate ourselves.
