At very least the NCFM people would know who to call

2018-12-10 07:25:34 UTC

but might be a bit annoyed if I missed something easy to google

2018-12-10 07:25:37 UTC

@RandyLahey we are the MRM. That's the point of this discord mate

2018-12-10 07:25:49 UTC

The MRM is made up of many communities

2018-12-10 07:26:06 UTC

yeah.

2018-12-10 07:26:40 UTC

After this shitshow, I need to be more red pill awared

2018-12-10 07:28:01 UTC

She had a leash on me the entire time; I couldn't figure out how to get out until she went back home temporarily

2018-12-10 07:28:30 UTC

Sounds like you're a victim of domestic abuse :<

2018-12-10 07:28:52 UTC

I was a Beta

2018-12-10 07:29:25 UTC

transitioning to alpha atm since I lost everything.

2018-12-10 07:30:27 UTC

Oof, I don't associate much with terms such as alpha or beta. Not my thing. Everyone's different and everyone likes different things in people is the way I see it.

2018-12-10 07:31:06 UTC

ok. I think I used the wrong words.

2018-12-10 07:31:11 UTC

But if it makes you feel better to be a certain way then more power to you

2018-12-10 07:31:23 UTC

I was blue pill before.

2018-12-10 07:32:09 UTC

@InsaneCaterpilla Nah, I appreciate it. I need to be focused right now.

2018-12-10 07:33:16 UTC

But, its true. The situation is overly complicated. A lot of context is left out.

2018-12-10 07:34:19 UTC

I just mean, there's nothing wrong with if you see it as self improvement. That's always a worthy goal to adhere to, to better yourself, and if you feel you have then it's something to be proud of

2018-12-10 07:34:43 UTC

I posted this a while back. https://tinyurl.com/ycl38zhc

2018-12-10 07:35:17 UTC

@InsaneCaterpilla I appreciate it. I lost a lot of opportunity because of this relationship

2018-12-10 07:35:28 UTC

a lot of money too

2018-12-10 07:37:18 UTC

Okeydoke, so my advice in the absence of me or Caterpilla having anyone to contact is to contact the NCFM, just to say "hi, I'm planning to separate from a bad relationship, I'm in South Carolina, she's vindicative, there's a possible pregnancy, and I really want to keep my security clearance. I'm not sure if you are the right people to contact, but who should I be talking to in order to get basic advice of what to do about these things, other than a lawyer?". Using the resources from https://ncfm.org/lead-with-us/chapters/. It seems the contact points would be 888-223-1280 or [email protected].

2018-12-10 07:37:54 UTC

but you mostly have good advice already

2018-12-10 07:38:00 UTC

It may be considered evil to a lot of people, but I'm a firm believer in a universal living wage, that simply living your life shouldn't mean you have to work, not on a base level

2018-12-10 07:38:01 UTC

from the reddit thread and stuff

2018-12-10 07:39:11 UTC

Yeah, I need to consult with a lawyer on this one bigly.

2018-12-10 07:40:33 UTC

You should definitely, and its good to try and find one who specialises in these kind of issues, divorce lawyers for men have a lot of experience in what to expect

2018-12-10 07:41:15 UTC

@InsaneCaterpilla it might come at some point. I am a firm believer that my spouse should work. It has not come yet.

2018-12-10 07:41:57 UTC

In today's world she should. What I meant was to speak of a future world where we rely on automation to solve our problems

2018-12-10 07:42:18 UTC

I know what you meant. No problem.

2018-12-10 07:43:27 UTC

the last lawyer I met a while back divorced as well.

2018-12-10 07:44:06 UTC

All he said was to throw money at her and leave.

2018-12-10 07:44:20 UTC

wasn't great advice.

2018-12-10 07:45:01 UTC

Definitely not good advice at all, your ex can still indenture you to pay through alimony (and possibly child support if she really is pregnant)

2018-12-10 07:45:01 UTC

That's the thing, finding a trustworthy lawyer to find for this sort of thing is something I'd be super worried about.

2018-12-10 07:45:33 UTC

I dont think alimony comes into play here

2018-12-10 07:45:41 UTC

Are you married?

2018-12-10 07:45:44 UTC

It sure does

2018-12-10 07:45:50 UTC

we have been married for 1 year

2018-12-10 07:46:01 UTC

wasnt long at all

2018-12-10 07:46:06 UTC

We are in our mid 20s

2018-12-10 07:46:26 UTC

Idk what the laws for marriage duration for alimony are in NC
