What she is doing is disgusting and very deranged. I hope for your sake she is a liar, but maybe tell the teacher and your parents
Might also be worth varying your walk home and sticking to public areas if you can. Stay safe, alright?
A little late to the party, but she is absolutely crazy. When I heard about the sex stuff I thought she was just flirting with you in a very immature and twisted way, that isn't okay by the way, but by the end of it I have pretty much nothing else remotely nice to say about her. Your guy friend is wrong by the way, being a man doesn't mean you can't be raped or can't suffer trauma. I heard once that a soldier got raped by a pregnant woman who said he'd hurt the baby if he resisted. So yeah, even if you're buff as fuck and can fight back, which not all men are, sometimes the mental shock of the situation or your attacker's manipulation can keep you from resisting
something i'd recommend to everyone is being as healthy as possibly. id personally vouch for paleo/keto/intermittent fasting, but you can just start by cutting out soda, alcohol, candy, junk, too many grains, etc
*possible. damn i make a lot of grammar/syntax errors when i type without noticing
@blueorange22 but rum and ginger beer is okay yeah? xD
I drank about 15 cups of coffee a day, with 16 packets of sugar in each. I used to have 2,000 calories of JUST sugar sometimes. For some, it's soda; for some, it's gaming; for some, it's porn. You know who you are. If there is something taking up too much of your time, attention, money, peace of mind, joy...you'll know it because you'll hear yourself say sentences that begin with "I wish."
The recommendation I make is to recognize what makes you "worse," and how you could be if that were completely replaced with its opposite. You now have a spectrum: the complete obliteration of your life by one thing, and the complete retribution of your life by the other extreme. Visuals help. Draw it, write it! Make a scatterplot or a gif or an oragami dragon - you know you better than I.
Now, infuse one side with the other. I now MUST drink 2 full 24 oz cups of water before I can have my first cup of coffee. I MUST tell a coworker how many packets of sugar I used. Then, I added more water and detracted more sugar. Months. Addictions aren't overnight. It takes 21 days to rewrite a habit with another, and another week before it begins to firmly take hold, and your body and mind will fight you. Start small, but START. Be accountable. BE PROUD OF YOUR PROGRESS!
I now drink no more than 4 cups of coffee a day, and none past 6PM. I use 6 packets of sugar. I've also cut down on my gaming. I'm using these tried and proven skills to work other areas of my life. Be better men, brothers.
I used to just eat whatever I wanted and not care about exercise and stuff. I started really slowly cutting back and building up the exercise I do every day. Lost 30lb and gained a lot of muscle mass. I never did but cutting out fizzy drinks really helps. You can trick yourself with exercise to only doing a tiny bit more each day, and before you know it you are doing a lot so long as you keep it up.
@Dan da Dad That's so much, I kinda thought you were joking at first. I'm glad you are cutting back.
Maybe switch to decaff. You probably won't even notice the change-over.
I know I have problems with gaming addiction, it’s something I will have to deal with in future, escapism is pretty nice when you are living in shit conditions
There was a time where I got really sucked into those “free to play” games and that proved quite detrimental, I won’t touch those anymore
Do you mean the ones that have in game purchases and stuff? I hate those
Yeah, they ruined me for a bit, I was really depressed at the time and that shit was like crack
:<
I can say from experience that those games prey on the vulnerable, I was spending upwards of 300$ a week on those things, barely ever had any money left over
Those really basic gatcha style mobile games
Omg that's so much... I guess it's pretty similar to kids spending their parents money on lootboxes?
Yeah, it was pretty toxic, and I have to watch myself because I get sucked into that kind of stuff very easy
Started avoiding free to play games all together
Oof... You're ok with warcraft though right?
Yeah, it’s a fixed subscription, so $15 a month, they have some store stuff but a lot of them is just a buy and receive (mounts and pets and stuff)
It’s not perfect but it’s much better at least xD
Also social, since I can chat with my guild where most of those free games I just played alone
Yea definitely better than doing stuff like that... Glad you worked it out ^^
I feel like I can lapse though, very easy, is a constant struggle, lol, like hearthstone I enjoyed but had to stop playing because it was tough, I stopped buying Pokémon cards because I spent way too much on that too, even after I stopped going to the card shop to play on Friday’s, I still sunk my money into it
I know what you mean... I don't drink much now, but when I do I have to really try hard to stop myself from not just going to get more and keep it going the next morning when its gone.
I have a load of pokemon cards, I love collecting them xD but there are way too many to ever get these days
I still like mobile games but I am just very careful about what I get now, like I used to be really into type moon, so fate/GO came out, I dropped $20 on it then deleted it off my phone xD
I like Mario run and monster hunter stories, they are good games, also plague inc because I love Pandemic and it’s based heavily on that
In short I am one of the few people who actually buys mobile games because they are less costing then the free ones, lol
Oo I bought plague Inc expansions with the neurax worm and the zombies, fun ^^
I didn’t get any of the xpacs, I just have the base game but I love it, still play every now and then xD
You should try out pandemic, apparently it is going to get a digital release on the switch with a bunch of other tabletop games
I think I've seen it, might do ^^ would probably definitely get it for the switch though, especially if those tabletops games can be played online
If you ever are willing to drop $20 on a mobile game though I highly recommend Monster Hunter stories, was a 3DS game, full RPG with all the DLC included, it’s very pokemonesque
Ported really surprisingly smoothly to mobile.
Truth be told playing games on mobile has become rather annoying for me, I often dislike the controls
And although I got Google play on my fire HD my normal phone isnt that good
That’s fair
Ow at the free to play games. Just ow.
