No more

2018-12-28 03:59:19 UTC

Nah

2018-12-28 03:59:37 UTC

he doesn't really turn people against each other

2018-12-28 03:59:55 UTC

Look at our discussion now

2018-12-28 04:00:09 UTC

Our discussion now has nothing to do with what he was saying

2018-12-28 04:01:39 UTC

It’s a “debate” that is happening because of him. He knows I’m suspicious and started responding to my comments with little passive aggressive disagreements, just to start it. This all happened before- if it was the first time I was seeing it, ok. But it’s not.

2018-12-28 04:02:21 UTC

He disagrees with the prevailing views in this discord and on the subreddit, we know this

2018-12-28 04:04:41 UTC

Even persistent passive aggressive disagreement isn't beyond the pale outside of the support channels, and certainly not when he deliberately takes you to the debate channel

2018-12-28 04:04:48 UTC

Well, not you

2018-12-28 04:05:01 UTC

I should rephrase "takes the discussion to"

2018-12-28 04:05:25 UTC

and he left it to that other guy to initiate in this channel too

2018-12-28 04:05:38 UTC

I see what you mean, and it’s 100% true in a vacuum. It’s the past behavior and pattern

2018-12-28 04:07:16 UTC

And that'd be a fair argument, except that doing that in the middle of a debate in the debate channel is a weird time to do that.

2018-12-28 04:07:35 UTC

And purging comments...he was the 2nd or 3rd user in the discord

2018-12-28 04:07:47 UTC

And it isn't like Hadashi wasn't aware of that kerfuffle you mentioned from the very beginning

2018-12-28 04:08:47 UTC

And he can bring him back. But he’s toxic and bad for the group

2018-12-28 04:10:05 UTC

Alright, I guess that's the reason. And in hindsight, sorry for making objections to moderation in the debate channel, this really isn't the place for that

2018-12-28 04:10:17 UTC

I was just rather shocked

2018-12-28 04:29:38 UTC

I understand, it’s the history. I got harassed for weeks after getting doxxed. I just know that he would hurt the group

2018-12-28 05:12:55 UTC

@asparkofpyrokravte normally I wouldn't agree with that ban. But idk what happened before.

2018-12-28 05:13:32 UTC

But we must be more diligent before banning a person.

2018-12-28 08:44:21 UTC

@King Bean Try /R/Ask men

2018-12-28 08:49:24 UTC

<@&516181909554987038> We are going to have to have a talk here. By deleting all his messages without archiving them, there is no way for me to see the truth of this matter and so I cannot ban PM. If any of you saved what he wrote, I will review it. If not, it's looking like I will have to unban him.

2018-12-28 08:49:49 UTC

I will be laying down some ground rules for mods very soon

2018-12-28 08:50:37 UTC

We cannot have this 'everything vanishes' approach. This was meant to be a relatively free-speech server.

2018-12-28 08:50:52 UTC

The only rules were against hate and illegal content.

2018-12-28 08:51:14 UTC

Now it seems like bans are being handed out behind my back, and I am not pleased.

2018-12-28 08:52:35 UTC

We are not going to turn into feminism. Our weapons are logic, and facts.

2018-12-28 10:17:21 UTC

@blueorange22 I would like to make a full apology about the incident relating to MRACentral and the @centralMRA twitter account earlier this year. I have regretted that incident since it first happened, and it is the reason that I avoid twitter in general now. I know that my apology can never make up for the lasting impact my actions had on you, @turbulance4, and @James.

I respect your decision to ban me from the MRACentral discord and change the passwords on the various accounts, however I ask that you do not let past events affect our relationship today in this community.

2018-12-28 13:10:34 UTC

@Men Are Human agreed. i acted too hastily

2018-12-28 13:12:54 UTC

@PM_ME_UR_PC_SPECS ok. i knew you'd be back with a new name, and i stand by the things i said. i dont think anyone with a educated view on the MRM can fairly or reasonably compare us to r/askfeminists and i dont think its "subjective" by a reasonable standard. sure everything is subjective, but thats what every regressive ideology uses as an excuse. where do you draw the line? they blatantly lie about the MRM and misrepresent data and facts, and not in a way that is a different perspective, but in a way that is objectively changing numbers or stats. i used to post there all the time when i first got into reddit

2018-12-28 13:13:55 UTC

Okay, so first off, I just want to make this clear that it is the same account. I just changed the name because I was bored of it.

2018-12-28 13:14:05 UTC

ok

2018-12-28 13:17:56 UTC

Now, I respect your belief that nobody with an educated view on the MRM can compare them to feminists. However, I dispute your belief on the basis that your worldview is solidly MRA, whereas mine is much more centered in between MRAs and feminists.

I do concur with you that certain feminist communities (such as r/askfeminists) have been polluted by moderators that power trip and have extremely strong beliefs.

2018-12-28 13:18:31 UTC

However, I do not see many "blatant lies" about the MRM and its associates

2018-12-28 13:18:48 UTC

Most claims made about the movement have a basis in reality

2018-12-28 13:20:05 UTC

well, i certainly cant disagree with that. as to the "blatant lies", they have a very strongly and inaccurate view of the MRM based on generalizations that have no basis in anything we ever say.

2018-12-28 13:20:37 UTC

Would you perhaps care to provide some examples so that I may evaluate them?

2018-12-28 13:23:37 UTC

Like when they there is no systemic sexism against men via law

2018-12-28 13:25:32 UTC

I would not say that that is a claim about MRAs as much as a claim about society. If some people on r/askfeminists do genuinely believe that, then I feel that they need to take the time to better educate themselves (something I think everyone should do regardless)

2018-12-28 13:26:24 UTC

ok, take this post: "https://old.reddit.com/r/AskFeminists/comments/a96817/what_do_you_think_of_counterfeminist_groups_like/" it asks "what do you think about counter feminist groups like MRA, red pill, etc". the mods tagged it "l;ow effort/antagonistic". lets see some of the replies:
