Reversing the Descent of Man - On virtually every indicator that anyone might want to consider, men in Britain and various other Western states seem to be performing very badly at the moment, both for themselves and for the communities in which they live. - https://redd.it/aak9vu
In regards to violence against men, it's some serious doublethink to say that it's sexist to see women as weaker, but also fail to see a woman assaulting a man as "legitimate" assault
Yeah.
It doesn't make much of a difference, but when it comes to stronger/weaker, it seems like their opinion is that men are physically stronger, and women are mentally and emotionally stronger
i just cant fathom the mentality of men who jump in against a man who is just defending himself...what would they want if it was happening to them??
Like this story, he was beaten into a coma and brain damage https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/kensington-mps-son-beaten-unconscious-by-girl-gang-in-kfc-queue-10381364.html
not the quote about not hitting a woman...he just let this happen until he was being kicked in the head
I could kind of understand that if I knew the woman. I would help my friends. But not someone random. I can't properly explain the 'defend all women' thing, besides it being seen as part of bravery/perhaps a need to be respected
It hurts me so badly to hear that he got beaten up, and yet still couldn't break that taboo about fighting back.
literally brain damage
its ridiculous
It is. And they'll not have much more coverage than this.

The term “toxic masculinity” has become ubiquitous over the last few years after laboring obscurity for the better part of three decades - https://redd.it/aaknk0
its hypocritical for feminists to claim to be the arbiters of what masculinity is to begin with; they criticism men for "mansplaining" over womens experiences,, yet do just that in reverse (and call it mansplaining to disagree!)
That article says the term toxic masculinity was coined by an MRA...
Well, the MMM, which I guess is one of the earlier men's movements. I think the article is flawed though in that the meaning and usage has completely changed since it came into the mainstream.
The origin of the particular phrase doesn't matter, because no one refers to it in that manner, not that the original manner was particularly good anyway
I only skimmed it and several other topics so feel free to disagree with me if you think I'm wrong
As like there is toxic femininity huh
Yes, there is
That's why it's unnecessarily gendered
Except they are different phenomenons
Men can also use psychological manipulation which is termed as toxic femininity
Women can use violence too
By who? It is not
None of those things are linked to what you claim they are
Emotional manipulation is primarily a female thing
And not toxic femininity
Like violence is primarily male
And none of these things are related to either toxic masculinity or toxic femininity
So what is your point?
My point is when men are being violent, it's called toxic masculinity
No it is not
Anyone who says that is poorly informed
And when women use emotional violence it's toxic femininity
And Yet It Is Not
It's the mainstream view though
You keep making these ridiculous claims that show you have no clue what you are talking about, but it really is not
