Any discussion can change topics to and from men's rights. Because the chill out area is lax no one is going to penalise you for straying topics there. It's only the reverse, talking about casual stuff in the men's rights rooms which we will suggest to talk about it somewhere else

One other thing is that -- as the understanding of a non-mod -- it doesn't usually matter if a conversation in general strays from MR topics. Like that support discussion spent quite a while kinda on discussing the nature of MGTOW, but that's fine until it gets several levels of removed, at least in <#523922218200203265>.

Forcing people to switch channels for small stuff can kinda stifle discussion.

you can make a special channel for welcomes, with no chatting permissions

then newcomers can choose their channels from the sidebar instead of just speaking in the one they're sent to
