Been following MenRights for a while. Trying to get out of a BPD marriage.

That sound troubling, is there specific things that are holding you down like Money, kids or emotional guilt? Something that is stopping you from just being able to leave?

Yeah, she is coming back in 10 days.

But the comments you where getting are good, Financially seperate yourself from this woman and get out of there as soon as possible, I don’t think she has much of a case against you but just in case, try and get a lawyer and maybe save some evidence of her threatening you, either messages or voice clips... also just get out of there as soon as possible, your mental health is what is at stake and you won’t be able to perform well at your job anyway if you home life is causing you this much stress in the first place.

Unfortunately, I can't leave yet as she claims to be pregnant. I have to find out if it is true.

But, it is typical BPD behavior, so I am in a state of uncertainity.

The only real advice I can give you right now is to lawyer up, they can help you with any legal uncertainties as well, also try and get some alone time where you can, go out for a jog and try to keep your head clear as best you can, the more stressed you get the more likely you are to make a small mistake that can hurt you in the long run, and of course we are here too if you just need someone to talk to, there are a lot of guys who have been dragged through similar minefields, so they can empathise with your situation.

Tbh I would have thought the convicted woman would have already had to have paid some compensation to the victim of her crime

@RandyLahey Also, you should think about ways to reduce what she can take if you are about to start the divorce. In the past I have heard of men giving their houses to family members.

I don't know what the success rate is, but it may be worth a shot.
