Do you tune down?

Right now I'm in D sharp, but I usually play in C or B. Lotta Amon Amarth and that sorta thing

I use 11s for C but these were 12s on a standard tuned telecaster. It's really nice for clean. Most of the time I play 8s on my JEM in standard.

You gotta JEM? 7 string model?

No regular 6. I really want a Universe. But IDK if I want to deal with a floyd rose on a 7 string.

Yeah, that'd be a pain in the ass. But yeah, two of my electrics are Ibanez. Nothing as fancy as a JEM tho

My JEM is a JEM JR so it was cheap.

I really want to because I like how EVH keeps the Floyd Rose flat mounted so it can't pull back it makes tuning easier. I kind of want the one they just release that has the frankenstrat paint job.

I dunno. I like the action of a rosewood neck better than.. I think fender uses ash for the neck. Not 100% sure
