i would imagine any steel pipe with decently thick walls would do the job

I could probably go to the hardware store and make one for pretty cheap out of black iron pipe

Anyone got any obscure gun parts dealer recommendations? I've got a semi-auto Thompson clone made by a company that doesn't seem to even exist anymore, and the firing pin is fucked. The one dealer I can find online seems to indefinitely be out of stock of it.

That's probably your best bet is to find a local metal worker with a lathe and a mill

Or try to see what's wrong with the pin, maybe just sharpening it might work
