We're always here to support you, dude. You're one of us. What's happening to your friend is awful, and I can relate to your issue in some degree. When my mom was diagnosed with acute kidney failure, I wasn't sure what to do. I was never on good terms with her, but it was still devastating to see her condition worsen. She had a stroke and lost control of her left side, which only further complicated her health.

We were always fighting about everything, especially my grandpa; which she forbid me to see him. When my grandpa passed away, I blamed her, and was pissed off. Because of her and the state's actions, I was unable to take possession of his property, and the state took it and all his shit.

After her stroke, I could tell she was trying to make up for all the fighting we always did. Would send me gifts frequently, including a xbox one, a 3DS and other stuff.

I'll have to tell the rest some other time. She died this month, so it's a little hard to talk about.

This wasn't to shift anything from Nucky, just I felt it was relatable, and wanted to let him know we're here for him.

The guy I like (who's best friend has confirmed to me that he likes me back, just not ready for a relationship yet) is really fucking cool about helping me when he sees me struggling or having problems without me asking. He's getting really good at reading my body language and sometimes we don't even need to talk/say anything and we understand each other.
He helped us tonight at work and plowed through a shit ton of dishes in the pit.
Ask my coworker, "Do you see why I like him?"
"No, I *really* don't see why you like him."

Later on in the night, my coworker starts having a phone conversation with his gf.

Then it turns into arguing; he's angry at her because she doesn't understand that he wants her to get a better job so the two of them can afford to live together in an apartment.

Afterwards I asked him if he was alright and that I overheard his conversation and it didn't sound good. It sounds like he's having major communication problems and a conflict of interests. He's just all "yeeeeaah, she's just stubborn and she only *pretends* to not understand."

I tell him "that's not good, what're you going to do if she gets you into trouble or it doesn't work out?" (you know how women can be, fucking insane and back-stabbing cunts)
He tells me, "oh, she can't get me into anymore trouble. She's the only support I've got right now."


This was after having an hour long argument and him telling her that she's not being supportive.

I don't understand how this related to what dubya and I were discussing

The point is that my coworker is using his gf as an emotional crutch and thinks she's his only support when she's an airhead and doesn't really care about him

If you end up dating a crazy or fucked up woman, you better make goddamn sure she actually cares about you

I have no interest in dating crazy women. That's why I haven't approached anyone. The only person I've tried asking out on dates seems either too busy or too nice to just tell me no.
