He was unaware of what happened prior, once he found out, he was just heartbroken

Had a dog named max a while ago. Good lad and was loyal seeing how we had him since he was a pup. We had to give him away because our bitch landlord didn't like how protective he was of our apartment and would constantly bark at strangers. We gave him to my dads boss from work as he was a good man. Poor dog grew to dislike my family as he felt abandoned. Found out years later he ran away and seeing how close hw as to back roads he probably died either by hawks, malnourishment, or road kill
