My dad used to drive truck. Owned his own vehicle. Drunk driver hit him head on, drove straight under the tires and died. Totaled dads truck. Insurance told him tough shit because the dead guy didnt have insurance so they had nobody to sue for damages.

The way insurance works is backwards from how it should be.

I had a buddy who adopted a golden retriever, the dog was super paranoid because his previous owned abandoned him.

He was unaware of what happened prior, once he found out, he was just heartbroken
