My uncle just vibe checked my grandma and lectured her on how she's kinda holding my brother and I back.

He said by 7, his kids were doing chores and making their own meals.

I dont know how you are or even what your like personally but if your relatable enough I'd suggest not doing that. I do that alot and I just end up over exaggerating everything in my head and worrying more about it. Talk it out with this friend and ask why they feel this way and how you can improve.

Spacing out and detaching with music keeps me from over exaggerating shit in my head and having derealization and dissociative episodes
