@secrite I wouldn't think bodyweight is enough.
But it depends on the movement. I weigh 225.
@secrite Only thing I noticed after 300 on deadlift and squat is the next day got progressively less fun. Going for volume over max now, myself.

@secrite I ruptured S2 - L1 a few years back. My pain threshold is not something you should check against for comparison.

Lifting took that pain away, so itโs all been shades of โis it as bad as that?โ ever since. But, generally, I just fucking hated the random bits of muscles giving out the following day. Gives me flashbacks. So I do what @MufflePuff does, but at 18 per set.
Honestly being jacked seems not worth it. Maybe for me since I'm greedy af. I'm good with 10-12% bodyfat.
