That sensation where you fear everyone loathes you and tolerates your presence because it's hilarious to see you try to fit in

Two. Self improvement is important, but do *not* shame yourself for not being perfect. You can work on more than one thing at a time. Do not wait until you're perfect. Even if you're a NEET living in your parents basement.
There are still people who will love you.
focus on your qualities, the ones you like about yourself, that make you a quality person and focus on them
we ❤ you you big faggot
I've been working since I was 14, I'm not ashamed of myself but yes, at the same time, I used to feel crippling paranoia in social events
I helped keep my family over the breadline, so to speak
Have you ever had a clinical diagnosis?
No.

that might be a good place to start, therapy has helped me a lot
I'm mostly fine with myself now if that makes sense
@REEDSEEJBAMBAM imma kick you
I didn't get any diagnosis until a few years after I was married, but I'm on some medication that has been life altering, in a good way.
Where before I'd be shivering with doubt, now I'm, not apathetic but I'm able to compartmentalise emotions and deal with them later
@Deleted User just because im laying down based boomer knowledge dont be mad
also it helps to keep in mind that you dont like everyone you meet, so its only rational that not every person you meet is going to like you either
Oh I'm fully aware of that

Retail? Yeah that will destory the mental state of anyone.

If you want a change try working in hospitality. Still the public, but it's better. Especally if you work at a vactation destination.
I worked in business hotels for 10 years.
It wore me down mentally as well, but it took a LOT longer.
Dealing with people who literally shouldn't be allowed near an electrical socket to people who think you're still getting help tying your shoe laces
LOL
i always found the entitled people the worst myself
