Here’s something I’ve been thinking about lately.
We all know how the Left claims to be for tolerance while being intolerant of people and ideas that they don’t like.
As PJW likes to say, “so much for the tolerant left!”
Likewise, they claim to be for empathy and compassion while saying vile and nasty things about people the don’t like, and have no problem ruining their enemies lives.
Progressives will justify this, saying that you can’t tolerate intolerance and their opponents are terrible people who don’t deserve empathy and compassion.
But that being the case, what exactly do they mean when they say things like tolerance, empathy, and compassion?
If some people are in their mind not deserving of those things, can they really claim to be fighting for those things?
And if they aren’t fighting for those things, then what are they fighting for?

I don't get why everyone is couching their words re: Ford by saying "I'm not saying I think she's lying." Like, why the hell not? She's a liberal Democrat career academic. She has everything to gain and nothing to lose. She's made half a million dollars so far that we know about, all her legal expenses are paid for, and she'll get book and speaking deals plus be a hero to libshits. I guess they figure that's too far outside the overton window.
