Before I go to bed I will just leave you guys with this: It takes guts to admit when oneself has a problem, it takes even more guts to wake up and try and evade that problem. Until men learn to live and stand for themselves instead of letting women or social norms decide or think for them, and until women learn to take responsibility for themselves instead of covering behind walls and making phony-ass excuses for their cowardice or narcissistic actions - our society does not deserve to last and I will have to assume all is lost. Maybe I can be proven wrong in a century, when I am on my death bed for it takes usually a century to see any drastic changes like this, as was the racism against blacks. Took nearly a century and a half before we were treated like full human beings. As a disabled black man on the spectrum, there are many things I can do to exploit my own situation and being a nuisance and burden to the state and others. Some aspies since high school and even when I was in college were all too eager to rely on accommodations and various handicaps to get through their lives, they relied on government programs as that feels the easiest path to salvation for them. It took a lot from me to resist such temptation, especially seeing how it has in fact made things easier for them. Maybe I just don't like being spoon-fed so much anymore due to the mere feeling that I must be weak and hypocritical if I do. I try my best to avoid hypocrisy AMAP, and get work done the best I can without too many shortcuts or major handicaps and it has made me a stronger man because of that. I can't afford to give in to temptation and I dont want to add to the problem either.
I don't expect true equality to become a reality anymore, but if it truly ever happens, I might be a rotting corpse before I can ever foresee it.
