2018-11-11 03:03:14 UTC

I’m set to start jogging every week in January.

2018-11-11 03:03:16 UTC

2018-11-11 03:03:23 UTC

2018-11-11 03:03:40 UTC

@MufflePuff why january?

2018-11-11 03:04:22 UTC

Working my way up. Brisk walk 3x/week now, five times in January plus the weekly jog.

2018-11-11 03:04:38 UTC

Thats what matters man, I only started a few months ago

2018-11-11 03:04:45 UTC

I could barely run down the street

2018-11-11 03:04:52 UTC

Lol

2018-11-11 03:05:27 UTC

Yeah incline brisk walk is awesome for me. Jogging burns more calories faster, but running is too intense.

2018-11-11 03:06:03 UTC

@MufflePuff progress is progress man, keep it up

2018-11-11 03:07:12 UTC

Jogging can be bad for the spine in the long run, I prefer to brisk walk, with a power jog in the home stretch, but have only been at it for a week

2018-11-11 03:07:32 UTC

Never heard that about the spine.

2018-11-11 03:08:02 UTC

definitely want to protect the back

2018-11-11 03:08:08 UTC

I've seen what it can do to people

2018-11-11 03:08:11 UTC

I know a jogger who had to stop after she ended up with three herniated disks in her spine, her life has never been the same

2018-11-11 03:08:11 UTC

Brisk walk is the best low intensity cardio imo. Melt the fat away while preserving muscle.

2018-11-11 03:08:25 UTC

Geezus

2018-11-11 03:08:30 UTC

What really? Joggin is bad?

2018-11-11 03:08:42 UTC

Overdoing it can be, yeah

2018-11-11 03:08:42 UTC

cycling can be a good alternative, it's meant to be good for the spine

2018-11-11 03:08:50 UTC

better on the knees too

2018-11-11 03:09:03 UTC

Cycling is bad for the balls

2018-11-11 03:09:11 UTC

yeah, jogging down hill is awful for the knees

2018-11-11 03:09:15 UTC

and lol true true

2018-11-11 03:09:19 UTC

@MufflePuff depending of how much one weights, the running can put too much stress on the spine and discs, causing weak spots and generating rupture

2018-11-11 03:09:25 UTC

But flat surface us ok?

2018-11-11 03:09:39 UTC

@Kazemaru makes sense

2018-11-11 03:09:45 UTC

jogging up a slight incline is best

2018-11-11 03:09:46 UTC

And pinched nerves are no joke

2018-11-11 03:10:50 UTC

anyone know a program that increases your bench that doesn't include bulking on 4000 calories

2018-11-11 03:11:12 UTC

rn i'm going to the gym twice a week and benching 5 sets a workout, looking to increase 1 rep a week

2018-11-11 03:11:20 UTC

@Daribig Progressive overload.

2018-11-11 03:11:20 UTC

2018-11-11 03:11:26 UTC
