I'm not skinny. But I'm getting there. I was like 260 last year with way less muscle
Damn

@shadowlessnexus that's great man good job
Muscle weighs much more than fat. Most people can't believe I'm 225.
true that
@shadowlessnexus how often do you go?
true true
@JDB entirely put it towards work. Gym. Learning. Ect
Only use it while working on something
harder to swim because with muscles you sink more 😄
Lmao
Jesus, @shadowlessnexus Were you obese for a while?
Life jacket gang
Also 2 to 3 times a week right now

Yeah, the gym would be the one external motivation for me. I'm legit obsessed.
Yes for a short while I was. Note that I was on pills that made me go from like 180 to 260.
thats Fucked UP
They warned me I'd be hungry af. I was not ready for how hungry I was
Yea. But having muscle helps. I'm alot less fat now.
@MufflePuff my family say that obsession is always bad - i don't agree with them however most people see obsession to something, even something that is a great habit, as bad - what are your thoughts on obsessive behaviour? i think that you NEED to be obsessed in a field to ensure you succeed
agreed
It's about..... controlled obsession. Passion
There's a difference
never heard of that term before
Usually people that shame your passions can't understand because they have none.
I made it up.
controlled obsession = passion . yeah and true
In general, people are shit. But it's not their fault.
my mum is only driven by money
has no idea why she got into tax
30 years in a career
and still doesn't know why she started it
Welp. Pays the bills.
They say make a career out of what you're good at, not what you love.
.... that's what they say.
yeah - but i don't understand how you can go through a career and never ask yourself the question 'why am i doing all of this?"
People have different tolerances for why they do things. Like some people would say what's she's doing is wasting her time. Other people would say do what helps you survive.
Many people say that they make their decisions to "take care of their family".
