Yeah, the gym would be the one external motivation for me. I'm legit obsessed.

2018-11-19 22:28:54 UTC

Yes for a short while I was. Note that I was on pills that made me go from like 180 to 260.

2018-11-19 22:29:13 UTC

thats Fucked UP

2018-11-19 22:29:16 UTC

They warned me I'd be hungry af. I was not ready for how hungry I was

2018-11-19 22:29:56 UTC

Ur body remembers that w8, so ur biology will always want to store fat

2018-11-19 22:30:18 UTC

Yea. But having muscle helps. I'm alot less fat now.

2018-11-19 22:30:29 UTC

@MufflePuff my family say that obsession is always bad - i don't agree with them however most people see obsession to something, even something that is a great habit, as bad - what are your thoughts on obsessive behaviour? i think that you NEED to be obsessed in a field to ensure you succeed

2018-11-19 22:30:46 UTC

agreed

2018-11-19 22:31:02 UTC

It's about..... controlled obsession. Passion

2018-11-19 22:31:07 UTC

There's a difference

2018-11-19 22:31:19 UTC

never heard of that term before

2018-11-19 22:31:30 UTC

Usually people that shame your passions can't understand because they have none.

2018-11-19 22:31:39 UTC

I made it up.

2018-11-19 22:31:41 UTC

controlled obsession = passion . yeah and true

2018-11-19 22:32:04 UTC

In general, people are shit. But it's not their fault.

2018-11-19 22:32:06 UTC

my mum is only driven by money

2018-11-19 22:32:15 UTC

has no idea why she got into tax

2018-11-19 22:32:21 UTC

30 years in a career

2018-11-19 22:32:28 UTC

and still doesn't know why she started it

2018-11-19 22:32:48 UTC

Welp. Pays the bills.

2018-11-19 22:33:07 UTC

They say make a career out of what you're good at, not what you love.

2018-11-19 22:33:21 UTC

.... that's what they say.

2018-11-19 22:33:25 UTC

yeah - but i don't understand how you can go through a career and never ask yourself the question 'why am i doing all of this?"

2018-11-19 22:34:20 UTC

People have different tolerances for why they do things. Like some people would say what's she's doing is wasting her time. Other people would say do what helps you survive.

2018-11-19 22:34:53 UTC

Many people say that they make their decisions to "take care of their family".

2018-11-19 22:35:03 UTC

That's why I would never have kids unless I was retired.

2018-11-19 22:35:13 UTC

Fuck allat for the family BS.

2018-11-19 22:35:36 UTC

2018-11-19 22:35:45 UTC

2018-11-19 22:35:46 UTC

2018-11-19 22:35:51 UTC

xD

2018-11-19 22:35:57 UTC

'i do this because i love you'

2018-11-19 22:35:59 UTC

fucking hell

2018-11-19 22:36:26 UTC

it's not her fault

2018-11-19 22:36:35 UTC

i had this argument with my dad how i owe him 2 days ago

2018-11-19 22:36:48 UTC

but she needs to understand that she's not persuading me with logic but with emotional blackamil

2018-11-19 22:37:46 UTC

'unless you specificly picked me from all your other spermatozoids, i owe you nothing' and thats that for him :3

2018-11-19 22:38:11 UTC

I think the problem is, most people don't dream. Dreams create goals and goals make plans. Plans create fear for fucking them up. Since people don't do those things, they go about life doing whatever. Next thing you know they have kids, debt, shitty jobs. Then they ask how they got there and place their grief on their loved ones.
