@machtyn I don't want or need a single-family home. Plus a condo I would be comfortable renting out if I decide to move away, which is very likely. I would never rent a house because I would never trust anyone with that much responsibility. The condo is essentially an apartment, only so much can go wrong. I plan on buying rental condos every year as a long-term real estate strategy. The one for me will be the first.

Yes! A small ranch single story house (modern/industrial architecture) around 1000-1500 sqft. A garage for one car and my home gym of squat/dip/pullup/bench/barbells. Then the rest would be land where I'd simply allow ruminants to roam.

Let the topsoil rebuild and just preserve that land for as long as I can.
