I've found myself rambling civics lectures to myself (basic stuff life what the constitution kinda boils down to) in front of my nephew (technically 2nd cousin) who's dad was a wifebeating pos. And I think it's just me hoping he gets the thoughts in his head of what it means to be American, and that maybe even if just a bit he'll think about his actions while he's growing up. Not the nicest thing to say cause I do love my cousin, but her mom is a stereotypical Karen, and she's not doing much better

@Miniature Menace There have been a few shootings on bases in the last few weeks, and this might be a halfway house between the total lack of security now and requiring open carry for base personnel which would be the best answer. One can hope for some sense.
