there seems to be noted exaggeration in some areas when people talk about nhs wait times
i'm aware of one example locally where someone's been trying to get help from the nhs; but they're super impatient about it
they claim to be kept waiting for hours yet the longest they'll stay on a call is 8 seconds
and that's an outlier
my mum needed an x-ray on her leg... literally walked into the doctors.. empty wait room... walked straight into the xray room.. got her xray.. they said "ok, we'll sort this out and send it to your Dr" and she was out in 20minutes
