anyone old enough to remember this game? https://archive.org/details/win3_SKIFREE

2020-01-21 16:09:48 UTC

What's scary about that is that we already have a two-tiered gendered justice system.

2020-01-21 16:38:09 UTC

what

2020-01-21 16:38:10 UTC

the

2020-01-21 16:38:10 UTC

fuck

2020-01-21 16:38:16 UTC

This just in

2020-01-21 16:38:17 UTC

Women

2020-01-21 16:38:25 UTC

Literally can get away with murder in the UK

2020-01-21 16:39:20 UTC

But that's not enough, it's never enough

2020-01-21 16:40:29 UTC

Feminism is based on grievance, without something to fight against there would be no 'feminism' in it's current form

2020-01-21 16:41:15 UTC

So they'll just find more things to break down and subvert, lest they lose their ideology and everything they bet on it

2020-01-21 16:47:16 UTC

Even calling it 'feminism' is a bit rich nowadays

2020-01-21 16:47:32 UTC

female supremacy

2020-01-21 16:47:41 UTC

The suffragettes would be appalled by modern 'feminists'

2020-01-21 16:47:51 UTC

is a better label for this kind of nonsense

2020-01-21 16:48:05 UTC

Well, technically the Suffragists would be appalled

2020-01-21 16:48:25 UTC

Suffragettes were the ones who blew up Lloyd George's summer home

2020-01-21 16:49:13 UTC

Suffragists did most of the actual campaigning, while the Suffragettes smashed windows and attacked policemen

2020-01-21 16:49:45 UTC

Idk about a label for it

2020-01-21 16:54:36 UTC

So women are more often let off on the grounds they were mentally unsound at the time

2020-01-21 16:54:51 UTC

Does that happen to men as well?

2020-01-21 16:56:58 UTC

@𓆏 𓆏 𓆏 They later became members of the British Union of Fascists.

2020-01-21 16:57:14 UTC

The suffragettes?

2020-01-21 16:57:27 UTC

Yes many did.

2020-01-21 16:57:53 UTC

Do you have a citation for that

2020-01-21 16:58:30 UTC

They don't teach that one for GCSE

2020-01-21 17:00:29 UTC

Do women have more mental issues than men, in terms of aggressive or irrational acts?

2020-01-21 17:01:47 UTC

fascism wasn't necessarily super anti-feminist

2020-01-21 17:02:03 UTC

the first officially fascist state had women's suffrage before the usa

2020-01-21 17:02:58 UTC

although there's an interesting dynamic here

2020-01-21 17:03:29 UTC

the fascist subgroups that tended to advocate for the most gender/sex egalitarianism in terms of political privileges were also some of the most chauvinistic

2020-01-21 17:03:35 UTC

like the futurist movement

2020-01-21 17:04:35 UTC

the futurists could actually be considered socially progressive in a lot of ways

2020-01-21 17:04:51 UTC

albeit they were ardently anti-pacifist

2020-01-21 17:05:06 UTC

and nationalistic

2020-01-21 17:05:45 UTC

anti-pacifist in the sense they saw war as a good, not necessarily something that existed as some sort of trade off to accomplish some political goal or whatever

2020-01-21 17:08:10 UTC

this is what mosley had to say about women under fascism (specifically regarding political representation)

"31. Would women be eligible as representatives (i) on all Corporations, (ii) on any
Corporation ?

They will be eligible on all Corporations representing their industry or profession. In addition the
great majority of women who are wives and mothers will for the first time be given effective
representation by Fascism. A special Corporation will be created for them, which will have
special standing in the State. That Corporation will deal with outstanding women's questions
such as mother and child welfare. In addition, it will assist Government in such matters as food
prices, housing, education and other subjects, in which the opinion of a practical housewife is
often worth more than that of a Socialist professor or spinster politician."
