fascism wasn't necessarily super anti-feminist
the first officially fascist state had women's suffrage before the usa
although there's an interesting dynamic here
the fascist subgroups that tended to advocate for the most gender/sex egalitarianism in terms of political privileges were also some of the most chauvinistic
like the futurist movement
the futurists could actually be considered socially progressive in a lot of ways
albeit they were ardently anti-pacifist
and nationalistic
anti-pacifist in the sense they saw war as a good, not necessarily something that existed as some sort of trade off to accomplish some political goal or whatever
this is what mosley had to say about women under fascism (specifically regarding political representation)
