In the beginning hilter made education and healthcare accessible to all, relaxed the taxes for individuals while strictening the rules for companies. And he built roads on what essentially was loans from the people.
Sounds socialist to me.
He didn't stick to that for too long though and went syndicalist-ultra-nationalist after.

People try to conflate nazism with socialism to try to prove socialism is just as bad or hitler was a socialist. Socialism is itself an unsustainable ideology

2020-02-24 15:56:12 UTC

Yes he was always for social programs.

2020-02-24 15:56:16 UTC

Hitler did not socialize the ownership of the means of production.

2020-02-24 15:57:21 UTC

2020-02-24 15:59:10 UTC

Unless you're looking at one specific school of thought, but that doesn't qualify under broad socialism.

Looking deeper, German socialism is a very separate thing, with the government providing welfare (social programs), but taking care of people isn't really an economic policy. It can be extrapolated into it though.
