Both him and the drummer did a decent job.
I've seen Opeth live 3 times, and they still rank as one of the best live bands I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Their sound has been spot on at the venues I've been to.
They got some serious competition tonight, though, for my favorite live experience. Ne Obliviscaris was, in contrast to last night's Bloodbath, utter perfection.
Give their albums a listen, if you're into Opeth.

Not sure if you know how to play youtube videos in VLC but if you go to the toolbar > Media > Open Network Stream you can put most youtube videos right into VLC. Pretty neat.
