Do you know where you put your guns?
I'd like to examine them

did he mislabel assault weapons as assault rifles?
I can't watch children commit suicide.

Friendly reminder that the ABC has been a piece of shit for a while now
@Reaps how do you feel about that use of strayan tax dollaers?
Someone posted a link on SoA about it
So I'll be chasing that up
CONVENIENT
To what?
"An AR-15."
UNBIASED™
"high velocity assault rifle"
what, do they travel through the *fuckin' air* all by themselves now?
It shouldn't even be that hard to classify what an assault rifle is, but because it involves people trying to ban things they don't like, they just mire it down in legal jargon
HMMMM

I wonder if you designed a trigger that would essentially perform the action of a bump stock by requiring you to maintain pressure yet automatically resetting itself every time the trigger is pulled, whether that would be a legal way to increase rate of fire like a bump stock. Doesn't the law simply require one pull of the trigger to make multiple discharges of the weapon for it to count? This way it still requires trigger pulls because the reset is automatic, but not the discharge itself.
and I wonder what a trigger like that would do to your finger...
it might even be insanely impractical, you might have to make the trigger so you could use two fingers to operate it
Nobody likes to roll the dice with their life, not even if they get paid really well. Looks what happened when they cornered the Dorner, they burned him out instead of storming in
@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA] Ah, just make a foregrip/pump action bumpfire
Can't be too hard
yeah I just wonder if it'd be legal
it's obviously possible
Or just go back to WWI shit and convert bolt actions to selfloaders
You could also possibly use a feature that if the trigger has already been pressed, if it's pressed again as soon as possible (mainting pressure) then the weight of the trigger is much less, making the trigger still safe getting started but easier to fire multiple shots
So a two stage trigger?
if that's what you'd call it, sure
It's all entirely doable, but it's not been done because regular automatics are simpler and nobody wants to get the ATF on them
