That feeling when the update was just bugfixes

That's what hurts modding games with rapid development releases.

2018-02-04 01:42:39 UTC

At least Factorio tries to keep things stable between minor releases to not break shit.

2018-02-04 01:46:29 UTC

The mods still work, the authors just haven’t fully updated them

2018-02-04 02:27:33 UTC

Monster hunter world seems interesting

2018-02-04 02:27:42 UTC

Skill up review convinced me of it

2018-02-04 02:33:50 UTC

Monster Hunter is amazing.

2018-02-04 02:33:59 UTC

MHW seems to make it overall more accessible.

2018-02-04 02:39:55 UTC

Yeah

2018-02-04 02:40:05 UTC

Just have to wait the PC release

2018-02-04 03:03:35 UTC

Same.

2018-02-04 03:03:53 UTC

I'm not a big fan of all the time needed for chasing down monsters though.

2018-02-04 03:04:10 UTC

Tracking the monster down was never the fun part, for me.

2018-02-04 03:21:43 UTC

I never played it, but I'm used to MMOs

2018-02-04 05:00:26 UTC

oops!

2018-02-04 05:00:29 UTC

is my face red

2018-02-04 05:05:55 UTC

thats a bad site

2018-02-04 19:50:03 UTC

So I'm still on my first campaign of Stellaris... is it just me, or the computer can accumulate an ungodly amount of minerals and burst produce it all in one go when attacked?

2018-02-04 19:51:46 UTC

Playing on normal.

2018-02-04 20:03:21 UTC

And what's really annoying, chasing down an enemy fleet that's running away from me.

2018-02-04 20:23:12 UTC

@DanielKO yeah, that's expected

2018-02-04 20:23:40 UTC

That's the first empire that I'm trying to steamroll... it's so frustrating.

2018-02-04 20:23:58 UTC

Really don't feel like trying to conquer the other ones, if it's going to be this boring.

2018-02-04 20:24:09 UTC

Can I just blow up their planets?

2018-02-04 20:24:48 UTC

@DanielKO you can wait until the next dlc or get this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=720237457

2018-02-04 20:25:16 UTC

Gonna try to do it without mods on my first playthrough.

2018-02-04 20:49:55 UTC

This is fucking retarded, the enemy keeps jumping back and forth between two systems, before I can fly close and shoot them down.

2018-02-04 20:51:35 UTC

@DanielKO you have to play the siege game

2018-02-04 21:42:11 UTC

I think you can also make a tiny fleet to lure them near.

2018-02-04 21:42:41 UTC

can also be used to kite bigger fleets around, unless they've changed stuff since last I played

2018-02-04 21:44:10 UTC

Reminds me of a similar strategy in EU4, having a low strength regiment running around will instantly make all the AI troops salivate in a blood frenzy, and charge at your weak regiment with no regard for their own safety or health.

2018-02-04 21:50:21 UTC

Capturing planets is annoying.

2018-02-04 21:50:40 UTC

I wish I could just build a defense station there.

2018-02-04 21:51:42 UTC

yeah, it's kind of boring, and trivial at later stages. Just feels like a grind

2018-02-04 21:52:01 UTC

hopefully the new patch/dlc will do something to alleviate that boredom

2018-02-04 21:52:34 UTC

the claim system and system conquest stuff looks promising at least

2018-02-04 21:53:12 UTC

and the ability to build a defense system that isn't obsolete almost before it's built

2018-02-04 21:58:47 UTC

Yeah defense platforms suck

2018-02-04 22:01:18 UTC

totally. I've only ever really used them really early on
