There's some 'Exodus' jokes buried around here somewhere

How hard is it to make a Zombie game?

2019-01-30 13:22:10 UTC

it you are incompetent anything becomes hard. and they was way to late on the waking dead bandwagon as that train was gone when they did release OK walking dead

Yes my God Daughter is alot less obessed than she was a couple of years ago #HYPE

2019-01-30 13:24:22 UTC

a huge problem a lot of the gaming industry have is that they always are playing catch-up with what is popular at the moment

2019-01-30 13:26:43 UTC

cant make the big money if you are behind the curve. most of the big cash making games did innovate or improve at one point. that is more or less gone now.

also games developed alongside films etc tend to be terrible

2019-01-30 14:43:22 UTC

speaking of zombie games

2019-01-30 14:43:37 UTC

I was gonna buy dead rising 4 as I finished 3 the other day

2019-01-30 14:44:07 UTC

on the Xbox live US store it's $40, on the UK store it's $65 and on the EU store it's $80

2019-01-30 14:44:09 UTC

wtf?

2019-01-30 14:44:24 UTC

fun tax

2019-01-30 17:38:38 UTC

It Capcom being idiots on it prising

2019-01-30 17:47:52 UTC

Uk and eu have VAT tax, as well the conversion of currency is just set to a certain amount to prevent having to go in and asjust all the time.

2019-01-30 17:49:22 UTC

But yea equivilant of 85 for the uk is a bit much. But they might have set the price when the pount was worth less.

2019-01-30 19:10:21 UTC

I find it hilarious they have regional delays on releases for games that are released digitally

2019-01-30 20:27:49 UTC

haha

2019-01-30 23:13:01 UTC

Does this look like peak performance to you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNG4m7GGWfY

2019-01-30 23:13:10 UTC

doesn't seem like a lot of skill expression in this

WE had strats for Counter-Strike knife round 🀷🏿

2019-01-30 23:19:26 UTC

i dunno what that is

2019-01-30 23:19:36 UTC

but chivalry doesn't seem like much of a team game, unless your doing horde mode

2019-01-30 23:19:50 UTC

which is basically just team co-op for newbs

2019-01-30 23:23:14 UTC

its hard to plan out tactics in that game.... things either go perfectly or they dont, a lot of it is just luck it seems

2019-01-30 23:23:17 UTC

feels like SSB

2019-01-30 23:23:42 UTC

which i guess is why it didn't really take off

2019-01-30 23:25:29 UTC

the simultaneous nature of things is realistic, but battles devolve into that too often... real sword fights would have involved more judging of the opponent, though melees could happen, there were ways to avoid them

2019-01-30 23:25:40 UTC

and sometimes melees can't be avoided

2019-01-30 23:25:50 UTC

that would be more fun, but chivalry is basically melee 80% of the time

2019-01-30 23:25:56 UTC

when it should be more like 25% of the time

2019-01-30 23:26:00 UTC

or 30%

2019-01-30 23:26:05 UTC

that's my take away

2019-01-30 23:27:00 UTC

the popularity of 1v1 fights was to avoid melees, because anything greater than 2v2 usually causes a melee
