@Fulcrum010 I mean the French are a bunch of surrenderfags

2018-05-23 18:12:15 UTC

not always

Employers and entrepreneurs know best about what and at what price they need to be produced. They have the best information about the situation on the market, where they try their daily efforts to promote their goods and services. The less the obstacle they face in the way, the greater the benefits they bring to the people and the country. No government should therefore be exaggerated over the market.
Bad decisions of the governments of a country always hurt most. Over the past years, we have been constantly faced with the temptation of governmental parties to intervene in the economy in a way that creates unnecessary property gaps and reduces the prosperity of society and individuals.
In particular, the left-wing governments are trying to instill in people the illusion that spontaneous market forces need to be replaced by a state authority that overwhelms and knows the best way. Deep mistake! I do not claim that the market will solve everything. But the government is supposed to do such an economic policy, which does not in any way distort the market by giving some of the selected entrepreneurs exceptional benefits. This is protectionism and discrimination.

Who’s opinion is this?

2018-05-23 19:25:57 UTC

I agree with that stance

2018-05-23 19:26:23 UTC

I agree with the statement

2018-05-23 19:26:27 UTC

The Slovak Liberal party

2018-05-23 19:26:40 UTC

I'm not exactly an economist so I don't really have a strong stance of the issue, but for the most part I agree

2018-05-23 19:26:41 UTC

Huh

2018-05-23 19:26:50 UTC

How popular are they @franti ?

2018-05-23 19:27:00 UTC

2nd most popular

2018-05-23 19:27:03 UTC

I won't say that the market should be completely free, because some companies can and will take advantage of that

2018-05-23 19:28:18 UTC

I do not claim that the market will solve everything.

2018-05-23 19:28:28 UTC

This is an important part of it

2018-05-23 19:29:18 UTC

I prefer free markets to state authority

2018-05-23 19:30:48 UTC

At the same time you have to make sure the system can't be exploited through government corruption (which will happen if you give the government power over the private market)

Here is more
You have heard your friend or acquaintance comment on the situation of the homeless with the words: "Its his own fault. He shouldnt have started drinking. "This consideration neglects the fact that when someone is beautiful, healthy, strong and intelligent, he will hardly fall into poverty. Nobody is a volunteraly poor alcoholic without a roof over his head.

It can happen to everyone. We can have accidents, we can have strokes, we can go bankrupt and psychologically hurt, we cant get out of liquor ... We can get rid of it and maybe not. Maybe good people can help us and maybe they all turn away from us. But the certainty that no man is starving is the privilege of a civilized society.

It seems that the basic certainty of the individual is important only to him. But we create a civilized society and do not let them die of hunger or lack of health care for anyone, neither old nor sick or even lazy. The reward for civilization is the fact that we do not live in times of turmoil caused by masses in need. It appears that solidarity is a guarantee of stability in society. We understand that stability is something.

Just repeating. The fact that an individual will be solidary with the individual in times of its misery is one of the most important factors in seeking personal happiness of man, but also the stability of a civilized society. On the other hand, however, this security must not restrict the individual's efforts.

2018-05-23 19:37:09 UTC

It's the same party?

2018-05-23 19:37:20 UTC

This seems a bit more lefty

2018-05-23 19:37:37 UTC

yes

2018-05-23 19:37:47 UTC

The same party

2018-05-23 19:37:51 UTC

Agreed

2018-05-23 19:38:30 UTC

Well here it kina seems they use a lot of words without really saying much

2018-05-23 19:38:37 UTC

Yeah

2018-05-23 19:38:42 UTC

They don't come up with a solution

2018-05-23 19:38:56 UTC

They have concrete policy

2018-05-23 19:39:16 UTC

It is in Slovak and I am lazy to translate it

2018-05-23 19:39:25 UTC

I am talking specifically about what you just sent

2018-05-23 19:40:16 UTC

I agree with that too @franti

2018-05-23 19:40:26 UTC

But it's tricky to do it in a way that doesn't restrict his efforts

2018-05-23 19:40:37 UTC

I think that's the gist of the problem with welfare in general

2018-05-23 19:40:59 UTC

Wich is why the party is called freedom and solidarity

2018-05-23 19:41:19 UTC

The first part is the freedom the second text is the solidarity

2018-05-23 19:43:01 UTC

Do they delve into the specifics?

2018-05-23 19:43:06 UTC

Yes

2018-05-23 19:43:18 UTC

But its long and I am lazy to translate it
