Well they pick up strands that correspond to different groups More commonly, and the share of those strands determines your %. So you could just happen to have similar genes to jew but not have any jew ancestry and it could say like 2%.

While I understand that, I think you should consider that these for profit companies offering genetic testing are not ethically required to give sound or accurate information.

They can lie, for example, to push the narrative that "there is no race but the human race", "we are all mudbloods" or "racial purity doesn't exist"
