Try hooking something up to it, like a dvd player, see if that input gets detected

2019-05-20 19:23:21 UTC

Some newer TV's automatically toggle inputs based on what you have hooked up, so you don't switch to empty inputs between devices

2019-05-20 19:23:30 UTC

If it doesn't detect it, unplug the tv for like half an hour and then try again.

2019-05-20 19:23:50 UTC

And try see if you can tell what the buttons are

2019-05-20 19:24:00 UTC

You can normally navigate pretty well with just those

2019-05-20 19:24:44 UTC

Ahhhh i see. Alright. I think the picture is just frozen in place because nothing shows up when i plug it in, just the photo thing

2019-05-20 19:25:18 UTC

Worst case, could be a bit of fried circuitry, if it's manufactured in the same place as LG tvs I know they have a cheap capacitor issue. One is blowing out on my tv and it randomly kicks it off based on the temperature sometimes

2019-05-20 19:25:52 UTC

Could also be screen burn if it got left on for an extended period of time frozen on that image with no movement

2019-05-20 19:26:27 UTC

Ohhhh and probably ;-; I'll figure out what it is soon, thank you guys for helping ;w;

2019-05-20 19:27:45 UTC

Just try doing a hard reset by unplugging it for at least 15 minutes straight.

2019-05-20 19:27:51 UTC

Rip if it is cause screen burn means the tv is trash lol, careful getting a repair without a quote first

2019-05-20 19:28:24 UTC

There is a reason why tech support is known for telling people to turn shit off and on again. It just works :p

2019-05-20 19:28:40 UTC

Gotcha. And I've had it unplugged for a while now. And makes sense lol

2019-05-20 19:29:20 UTC

Also, a hard knock to the top can be surprisingly effective lmao

2019-05-20 19:29:36 UTC

Fonz that shit

2019-05-20 19:30:11 UTC

I should give it a big slap for being stupid lmao. But yeah I wanted to sell it, but i figured i should try to fix it first

People online complain about the screen, but I am just hoping it’s not so bad that it’s a garbage screen like you see with laptops under $500. I don’t plan on graphic design though
