Alright boys, my husband had an accident that fucked his shoulders when he was younger. Just took him to the gym and one dislocated on a 70lb bench.
Suggestions?
Like, he's mad at me because I didn't help his ass, but I didn't think his shit would give out at that little an amount. I can lift that much.
He didn't ask me to spot or anything. How the fuck was I supposed to know ugh
lel
Anyway, what in the fuck should he be doing. Other than seeing a physical therapist.
Drive him to a doctor?
Get a real workout buddy and stop being a bitch can help
Has it been put back into place?
I'm not being a bitch, I want to help him get past this. Also partial dislocation pretty sure
My advice was for him, not you
It's strange that it gave in so easily though
Once it's healed he should exercise it more often
Can he still move it fully?
Ie, does he still have full range of motion?
Yes, seems like the ligaments are weak
Apparently it happens when not lifting too
So this is a big issue.
Hmm, it might have healed poorly
Definitely go to a doctor. If this happens often it might be something serious
Ye
Kinda surprised this didnt become a problem when he was in the service ngl
Yeah just have him do extra reps at super light weights, like just enough to engage. Slow build is best for strengthening ligaments
Gonna ask my friend who has a physical therapist to ask what he should be doing
That's how my dad used to recover from work injuries, that and working the tendon actually in the water, like in a pool. Works better for jacked up legs/ciatica just because of where they are but even just swimming is great
Whenever I've hurt something awful I keep heat on it and make sure blood is flowing. If that shit popped something serious might pay to have it x-ray'ed to examine it, *then* see a PT
PT isn't a very *exact* science. It helps to give them exactly what's wrong
Well its obvious he needs to take a break and therapy
I'm no expert but get him to do some bench press type movements but with more motions. Givem dumbells to maneuver.
Sounds better than loading a bar and testing it all outright
Dumbells are less safe, since you can't really spot for them. Also, this is a childhood injury, not a recent one. So no to the break, but yes to some sort of therapy
why take headphones out to fart
to listen to your wind
must be a man thing
not like you would know, f*moid
yeah
You have to listen while in the gym because your ass crack sweat will make any fart feel wet, but the sound will always give away an accidental self shit.
