I just didn't go in.

Decided to go to Mass and go to the pub afterwards, and pulled a sickie.

I probably would've gotten away with it if I didn't wait until one minute before my shift started to call in sick.

Instead, I got a call from the manager telling me that she's very disappointed and wants to have a serious meeting with me on Wednesday.

Ah well.

It was a good two weeks.

I just called in halfway through a shift Wednesday because I felt like sleeping in, and they literally can't do anything about it. At this point it's basically all revenge for busting my ass and then still not giving me a good reference. They got rid of my only remaining motivation to perform in that shithole, so it's been nice keeping them on their toes
