do i need to talk to God to pray? do i need to assume some kind of praying position? sometimes i feel like i want to say im sorry, or say thank you, but when i try to think of specific reasons why i remember that God already knows everything about me, and i lose the motivation to use words or formulate sentences and instead just try to feel grateful or humble myself, usually while im in bed before i fall asleep.

God knows what lies inside your mind and your entire self, but when you pray to him, you humble yourself, you recognize that you’re the not worthy of absolutely nothing yet with His eternal glory and infinite mercy He forgives you, but you have to recognize it before him, if we say that He already knows what we need and therefore we need not pray then what’s the point of trying to live a godly life?
