You will be stolen from (marginally) less
GG @T3CHN01200, you just advanced to level 1!
Yea
But still rather lose a dollar then 5 dollars.
If things purchased are 90+% tax, I see little difference
Although Nuclear power would still be a way better solution
But true
Cars though
All those coal rollers
Turbos and gas guzzlers
Yeah, but cutting down CO² output from other power sources gives us more time to make cars cleaner (Hydrogen Powered/ electric)
I want to see hydrogen combustion. I've worked out solving most of the issues with hydrogen burn and I'm sure others can finish the rest. Such as hydrogen easily sparking ignition from lower temps. So A cylinder hot spot could set it off out of timing.
I wonder why this technology isn't taken more of a look at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuel_cell
Problem with feeding fuel is the injection. Will have to go back to using throttle body injection.
Efficient, cheap to refuel and the only thing coming out of the tail pipe is water
Those fuel cells were studied and prototypes made but they lack power and to make up for it, you have to increase weight beyond a gas engine. Nah direct hydrogen combustion it has to be for now.
You can always run it fuel rich, to limit dangers of accidental ignition
I don't really know much about engines tho, that might be very stupid lol
True but then gasoline becomes cheaper
Which burns more
Really? We're talking about a small difference in mixture, right?
Cost ++++
Fuel cells are eneficient
Way too
You can get the same performance and mileage and a lot more on hydrogen on a throttle body injection
I really like HHO fuel
As you would on gasoline
Yeah HHO is great for rockets, but a bit to unstable for everyday uses isn't it?
No
It can be electrolyzed on site and stored as a reversible metal hydride
Fuel cells died out because they can't be used fast cars or big trucks. Only in those itty bitty smart car things that you could bench press
Tin and palladium being great examples
Of reversible metal hydrides
Although solar based ones are indeed nicer
Or Lithium Hydride.. or even better Lithium deuteride
hmm
Good afternoon everyone 👋👋👋
Whaddup how u doin
