after getting the finished source code for the radio station Roku app it's really pretty simple
something called "brightscript"
but i can't code so i wouldn't have been able to write it anyway
guy did a nice job he even figured out a way to grab song titles from live365's API which I didn't even know existed
i'm surprised there isn't a way to grab the metadata (song titles) from the other non-live365 stations
they all run off a modified icecast server
problem is a lot of the icecast APIs are gone because of that
winamp/foobar/itunes/etc players can all recieve song titles though so that part still exists
but that works based on the metadata being embedded inside the audio stream
Roku can only grab external data

tbh I respect traditionalism and its own aesthetic. I can understand why it is so appealing to many people and why it presents a sensible model and solution to current society.
For me, I personally appreciate the traditional character of strong, powerful male and the father figure he represents. The masculine hero conquering and planting his seed within the maternal primordial nature to establish civilization is not only a trope in global mythologies, but buried deep within our mentality. The ideal male conquerers in these myths are just irresistible for me.
It may be just my daddy issue, but I always fantasize about paternal figure conquering me and the world around me just make me fucking hhhhnnnggg. He'll absolutely dominate my petite body as he gently pat on my head. I want a big, powerful man to conquer me and make me his, hhnnng.
