received a knockoff charger for my thinkpad today

it didn't come with a cable to the wall, but that was as advertised. plugging it into my thinkpad did not result in loud noises or magic smoke. it even manages to run off ac. electrical noise is obvious through the 3.5mm jack though

at $9.65, compared to $59.99 msrp for the legit charger, it's really good

So lesson --> do not buy chinkshit parts, you will regret. Battery -- It will be broken so it has no undercharge protection, it will deliver too little voltage so your phone crash, it will have much less than the rating they gave and probably after just a few cycles the total capacity will drop to next to nothing as its some kind of scam battery, it will be screwed in a way that it wipes the cache from "hard disconnect" causing all the apps to welcome you as a new user again. I say this from personal experience btw, I tried, at least.
