The only light I've owned with bad PWM noise was the Sunwayman V20A, but I passed that along when I upgraded recently.

None of my others are very bad.

Mines the single mode UV, so I haven't noticed.

Q8, M43, UC15, SMini, and D1S are all quiet.

But how bright is it?

Eh, first google result I'm seeing for a 50w LED is only saying 4,200 lumens.

Most of the top Google results for 50w LED are around 3800-5000lm. I got brighter flashlights.

The Astrolux MF01 is fine, just click to scroll through 5 levels, double-click from off for turbo, but it's a hold to turn off, and hold for maybe a second to lock, so basically no lock.

I work at a big box home improvement place, and it's always well lit, so it's hard seeing stuff in shadows, like if someone drops stuff between registers, wiring underneath stuff, or trying to see inside a water heater box to see which side the crushable bits are on when we're laying it on its side in someone's vehicle. Or when they turn the lights off after close to get customers out and then don't turn them back on.

Today's package, drill saws. Because it seemed like such a terrible idea that I had to do it.

They're mildly functional, but there are so few times they would be the viable thing to use.

Which is about what I expected, so mission success I suppose.

@Deleted User End is a drill, middle is toothed so you can use it as a saw. Drill in and keep drilling sideways, like a center-cutting end mill basically.

I like the couple of carbide things I've gotten, HSS outta China hasn't really impressed me much, I've had some good and some bad.

Carbide they can make a mold for once and be done, HSS requires heat treating and machining, and never trust Chinesium to be properly heat treated.

I want to find more fun tools. Anything neat you've found? I've got some NWS knockoffs that are pretty decent.

Harbor Freight has nice knockoffs. I like the foam better at first glance than the Pelican stuff, because it comes in layers. Apache 1800/2800 and Pelican 1520 pictured. I think they were like $15/$30 for the Apaches

There's a third, larger size. I think it's around half the difference between the 2800 and 1520

Probably not without paying an arm and a dick for shipping.

@bentech Think there's any reason to go with another emitter over the 219C on another D4Ti? I feel silly buying just a different body color, but there won't really be much throw regardless, and 3,500 vs 4,300 lumens isn't a huge difference.
