My Xiaomi Redmi note 3 has a broken audio jack. Is it worth to buy a new Xiaomi or will it also have a crap audio jack?
true. But the model my friend shilled has a display notch.
What is going on
its like 180 at goybest rn
https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_009458286321.html anyone know if its good?
I remember some anons here used a price comparison site that could find the cheapest but I doubt it'll be better than this.
the only thing stopping me is the notch, that was the least thing I wanted.
I can use it to annoy my iPhone X friend
theres that, but ehm
what, a, stupid, design, decision.
I also have Lenovo on my mind, the Motorola G6 Plus, that's chink-shit tier.
never heard of it, sounds funny
does it have anything to do with any brands?
woah woah there the price is only 140 euros more
Its because it just released or something, I guess?
I guess this is a flagship though
yeah
Is it worth throwing extra cash at it though
I also have taxes to think about
They will probably spot this and ask for it
unless there is a magic store with tax insurance
they have it here too
for 490 dollars
its cheaper to get it from China and pay tax
make chinkphones great again
Well, I have to agree that premium is worth it in the long run.
but when it costs 2x I'd rather get a cheap one then switch to another cheap one, I know, Im terrible.
gotta love capitalism
is it worth trying to do GB reviews for some discount
I am not sure how many points they will give me, if its some lousy 10 then no.
I got some orders for knife, routers, n stuff maybe I will get the A2 lite a bit cheaper
kek
sounds like hard work
I can talk Russian if that helps
@Tribit Yeah I can see the benefits of note 5 over the A2 lite
But I just could not resist the Android One
Note series has always been the shit though, I had the Note 3 and it was great. But dealing with custom ROMs is a pain and they always have their faults.
Two years of software updates are also guaranteed by Google if its Android One branded.
thats nice
Also I got a tip for you all if you want better chink-tier SSDs
MyMemory currently ships 120GB Kingston and Integral SSDs for 22 GBP
The code for Integral SSD 10% off is valid the rest of the week and it's INTSSD10
With shipping, it's covered by the code, if you live in Germany or England it's free afaik.
The controllers inside is chink-tier, Phison S11
just beware there are some reports of this chink shit controller dying in a year
but since Kingston use it and sell it in Western stores now I think it should be reasonably safe
I wonder if people already knew, if not I hope thats useful for somebody. Certainly safer than KingDian (mine died in 2 months?)
the replacement SSD KingDian sent suspiciously looks higher quality than the one I got previously, the memory chips were "modified" so what they did was they put some kind of magic stuff over the chips to hide what make, brand they were. Suspicious. But the new one they did not hide anything on it
<:hms:311152554618912768>
FYI the new one have SK Hynix brand chips, and looks new.
sorry for the spam, if anyone bought a phone from GearBest, in particular the Hong Kong warehouse, can you tell me if they splerg all out and put a value above the actual value or are reasonable? The routers I got from a separate warehouse previously were declared accurately without shipping fee so I think they are being 100% honest.
funny to have honest chinks for once EDIT: found a pic in their reviews, seems they will go honest with the tax.
when you already bought KZ shit twice you feel like you dont need any more
people always come and say this KZ is the best budget blah blah after years, yeah right.
guys
I got 12 messages from jesus dick store
is this happening to me too now
@Julian when I got my Note 3 from FANTACY TECHNOLOGY on Ali it was declared as a $25 mp4 player. Even when Russia lets you import upto 2000 EUR per item for personal use so it did not matter what they declared, whew.
thats why you see only ruskis in Ali reviews, they love it, no tax
Julian was it a chink warehouse though
I dont get the difference between warehouses on GB, I believe they are different stores. Once I bought an item on Ali from a store that stocked similar items which GB had just very limited, cheaper though, and they sent me the same URL type GB sent out of the item "packaged"
When I asked if they were the same as on GB they just replied "maybe we are the same, friend, [blow hearts]"
ah so let me get it straight different chink warehouses => internal chink shipping to GB platform > GB packages it, adds in small receipt (idk why they do this now) > re-sends it from their central facility to customer independently of the small warehouses/sellers
kind of like AliExpress standard shipping
well they stopped taking pictures of it
how do I deal with spam from jesus dick store, anyone
it is like when you block your previous gf on all social media
but then like Ali, you cannot block them on the platform for mobile payment/sharing, so they can keep sending you messages there by sending $0.01 and you will get notifications about it.
have a good one
Zircon you can feel its low quality and will break down in 2 months, shitty meme
sadly, even from XIaomi it has shit battery https://www.gearbest.com/headphone-accessories/pp_663674.html
ah this, it should be a cheap buy. Most laptops include it with Wi-Fi, at least both of mine did (Intel PCI card with both I guess)
just these generic off-brand small dongles the size of a wireless mouse dongle have, as expected, crap range and quality.
China number one
only country where buying a plate to cross different places in China like HK/Mainland by car easily can cost you 100.000 RMB, i.e. 15k USD, license plates for rich guys.
I bought my fourth 2139U3 from ORICO three days ago, I think I bought too many.
dont
I have a friend that uses Powerline
He got a Powerline from a Western brand and it was crap, they lied about specs too.
It was Devolo, so there you got my warning.
I think his other ones worked great, he bought them as an upgrade but the internet kept disconnecting all the time using Devolo.
Dont remember what his main was, he had to switch back to the old ones and wasted his money since no return window.
They worked great for the return window though...
Well 5 GHz doesnt handle walls any well, I got two Xiaomi 5 GHz routers and they are doing well here.
I got one for a friend and he kept complaining that he got low ping in his shitty vidya games, when I came in I noticed why, idiot had put speakers and his PC next to it so you could even hear the signal distortion from the speakers
"the router is crap"
would be careful about used powerline though @spaqin but definitely get a brand one
they are expensive af
also be careful, get return window, it may be they dont work with your specific electrical wiring
thing about wiring Ethernet is that its much cheaper to do a lot at once, thats why they wire up the whole place, but if you for example wire yourself it can be much cheaper.
I think old wiring can cause issues
It is because the state of your wires will probably be corroded, old, with poor ground. Fuses that have seen better days, circuits that are round and not the new switch ones, you know those that heat up and "pop" I'm also poorfag so I know all about this, I dont have ground for shit in the power sockets in most my house even if we 2018.
probably got no overvoltage protection, guess everything will be on fire when a lightening strike hits
At this point I would just try some powerline and see if it works, if not dont bother, it can be that you are lucky.
you cant expect your power cables to be as good as a Cat5.E or above Ethernet cable with shielding and 1 Gbps throughput *minimum.
they will be shit
