US wanted to dominate the American continent (per Manifest destiny and Monroe doctrine), during the Cold War they were couping democratically elected governments and installing horrible dictators which were much worse (you should read on the tortures of death squads /pol/ memes about today). Which were largely rising to power, because US&A fucked over their countries in the first place. As during the Cristero Wars, where US&A aided anti-clerical government of PRI in sending Protestant missionaries to the country.
I think they're hypocritical in that they pretend to be beacon of democracy, but were funding dictators.
If it was just ovethrowing communist governments, people wouldn't mind it so much really.

I always find it hilarious how US and NATO are so over non-aligned nations (Yugoslavia, Libya, Ba'athists), but the two Comintern members - Cuba and North Korea, are very much still left.

Urdu's script looks more Arabic-based but it sounds almost exactly like Hindi. I know because I'm ethnically Indian and I have Pakistani friends who speak Urdu.
