Some people are literally beyond repair. You could throw them in a hospital and drug them into submission but that would be a waste of time and resources that could be directed elsewhere.
They're only beyond repair if you think they are
you'd be surprised to how much humans advance
Do not underestimate human intelligence
Especially not when it comes to medical intelligence
Or scientific intelligence either
You are underestimating the reality of severe mental illness. Some people are fundamentally broken and no amount of medication and behavioral therapy will do away with the faulty wiring.
I'm well aware of how broken someone is
killing that person is pointless
As they can perhaps be fixed
We need to study them more
mr E
And advance more
sucked any dick yet?
No, you?
yeah

Some can, sure. But some just can't, and those people that aren't treatable should be executed.
How do you know who isn't treatable?
What evidence is there to suggest that? Simply because they're immoral?
@Deleted User why waist human resources when they can be used in a camp
I don't personally know that. But the psychiatric professionals analyzing them do, and their judgment should be taken into account. Unfortunately not everyone is treatable and most people understand this, especially medical professionals.
Not currently treatable.
But if we keep advancing then it's a good possibility we can help them better.
Even they know that.
@Firefly That's not a bad idea tbh. Forced hard labor should always be an option.
Again, this shouldn't be about vengeance.
This should be about punishment and rehabilitation only.
Morals are of course very needed and necessary in law and politics. But we need to make sure we go by the correct sort of morals.
And vengeance is not correct.
agreed
This is why society is complicated though. How do you know what morals are correct.
As vengeance is what drives many of these killers in the first place.
I don't. That's why I rely on other people's morals to strengthen my morals.
Either way I highly doubt I'll truly know what is right and wrong same with anyone in the world simply because morals aren't just black and white all the time.
You clearly ascribe to a different theory of justice than I do. I don't believe this has anything to do with vengeance and I ascribe to the retributive theory.
Vengeance hidden under the name of justice. How unfortunate.
Completely bastardizing the sacred word.
