And yeah, it was, no longer is

Post proof in current events

2020-01-20 03:05:19 UTC

Not sure what level court, but it was brought up probably in circuit or appeals court...next level after said they didn't have enough info to rule on it and let it stand

2020-01-20 03:06:06 UTC

Yoda seems to like the taste of leather to me....

2020-01-20 03:06:08 UTC

Also I believe rulings pertaining to federal law (the Constitution) should only be ruled on by federal courts, state courts have no business in federal law

2020-01-20 03:07:25 UTC

This was VA supreme court...posting article in current events

2020-01-20 03:08:01 UTC

I believe they should all stay the hell out of it

2020-01-20 03:08:04 UTC

woah woah let's cool it

2020-01-20 03:08:30 UTC

I'll give it a read, but that court is probably stacked with the governor's scumbag donors

2020-01-20 03:09:24 UTC

Right, so if this court can be on the wrong side, what's to say the supreme court isn't on ruling about probable cause...the bill of rights spells it out very plain...

2020-01-20 03:10:07 UTC

The only ruling needed regarding the constitution was done the day it was signed...all else beyond that is an infringement

2020-01-20 03:11:07 UTC

I might argue 13 was pretty good

2020-01-20 03:11:15 UTC

and the bill of rights

2020-01-20 03:11:19 UTC

The Constitution is vauge and dated, we need people with a firm understanding of the law to interpret it so our rights are not infringed by the government or by those the law is supposed to protect us from

2020-01-20 03:12:36 UTC

That makes sense...but the constitution is no there to guarantee or protect our rights...it is there as a dire warning to any participants in government that would trample our rights...as has been the case for a long time

2020-01-20 03:13:17 UTC

It was made vague in places on purpose...to limit specifics against the individual...it is not dated at all though...

2020-01-20 03:13:45 UTC

The law doesnt protect anyone...it convicts people after the fact

2020-01-20 03:13:53 UTC

Language is dated, over time interpretation of specific words and phrases change

2020-01-20 03:14:32 UTC

Right...interpretation...it is not meant for interpretation, that gives party to bias and leads to what we have presently

2020-01-20 03:15:00 UTC

It is meant to restrict government...and the gubment has been long unrestricted

2020-01-20 03:15:20 UTC

I hope you choose another career friend...

2020-01-20 03:17:14 UTC

Im choosing this career because I want to protect others from those who wish them harm. I don't give a fuck if people hate me for it.

2020-01-20 03:20:38 UTC

Ok fair enough and I know several that feel the same way...you already admitted you agreed the 4th doesn't stand and a cop can arbitrarily violate someone's person or privacy based on a supreme court ruling...so riddle me this...

2020-01-20 03:21:08 UTC

mate I am just throwing this out there

2020-01-20 03:21:36 UTC

Why is the safety of a cop paramount to a citizen's? Why does the cop get to point his gun at me for his safety, but vise versa and I'm a criminal?

2020-01-20 03:22:01 UTC

maybe this could alienate a potential ally and drive schisms in a potentially unified front and therefore might not be the greatest idea ever?

2020-01-20 03:23:28 UTC

What's not? 🤔 having a little debate on the debate channel?

2020-01-20 03:24:00 UTC

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

2020-01-20 03:24:04 UTC

a kinda targeted one at a single user?

2020-01-20 03:24:46 UTC

No no...I was debating his opinions with mine...it wasn't to target.

2020-01-20 03:25:00 UTC

I mean you kinda out of nowhere @'d him

2020-01-20 03:25:22 UTC

Because police are charged with protecting the general public. Unless the cops are rounding up citizens or attempting to take your weapons there is no reason.

2020-01-20 03:25:26 UTC

4 hours after his comment

2020-01-20 03:26:06 UTC

If I was a cop and I'm not doing fedboi shit and you pointed a gun at me, you bet your ass I'd dust you.

2020-01-20 03:26:28 UTC

Yeah he said he wouldn't enforce a law that breaks another because he respects the constitution...so I brought a regular part of procedure for all LE...violating the 4th

2020-01-20 03:27:04 UTC

Actually the supreme court ruled no LE is obligated to protect anyone

2020-01-20 03:27:11 UTC

If your car smells like crank its reasonable cause.

2020-01-20 03:27:35 UTC

With a warrant specific to that car and you and that substance...according to the 4th

2020-01-20 03:27:40 UTC

I personally like the WV approach. They are currently working on passing a bill to abolish federal gun law in the state. No NFA. They are attempting to make it so any state employee who assists in violating a citizens 2A will be fired and not allowed to return to service.

2020-01-20 03:27:55 UTC

Hellz yeah

2020-01-20 03:28:08 UTC

Actually smelling a substance was recently ruled not probable cause
