I’m CPR/First aid certified I’ve got plenty of experience in what’s known as Wilderness first aid. Aka improvised splints etc. i can navigate the shit outta rivers and currents. I hike for fun so rucking is fun to me cuz I’m hiking with intent to shoot. I’ve cooked professionally over winter for years. I’ve been told I’m a good shot but wtf does that mean in a forum.

If u crush up sparklers and mix in black powder about 1:4 bp to spark put on Skoal can about half full, loose pack paper in it. Wrap the fuck out of it with duck tape and poke a small enough hole for a fuse. Stick a cannon fuse in it at least 4 inches (easily obtained from fireworks stores) then place a little tape over the hole so it doesn’t pour out and u have a flash kinda bang.

The mixture of powder to spark has to be played with depending on the type of powder

With steel plates u NEEEEEED the spall protection or build up coat. Or soft armor in addition to. Otherwise if u take a hit all the bullet fragments end up in ur neck and arms

Ceramic armor shatters a little bit and absorbs the bullet. With steel it essentially fragments the bullet and sends it off like a ricochet

This is what we were taught to use on the river for punctures

It’s basically cheesecloth like material but 3in wide and like 13 ft long. U just start using one finger and push it in with gentle but moderate force til it’s full. Then use the additional to cover the wound and then apply a pressure dressing or quick clot sponge

That’s only in the event of a deep torso puncture tho.

Ur basically filling the hole made by whatever so that it’s not a continuous bleed and will seal. It’s still gonna have to be removed by a surgeon or actual medical professional and be treated

I can’t answer that with confidence because we are talking about gunshot trauma and I usually fill holes from tree branches
