It's the far left that has increased in numbers, so that the gap between far left and every other group has increased
I think the radical left is expanding, as is hate towards it. When you are locked up in a bubble, it's verry easy to see only one of these two trends.

Hopefully the Dutch have an early election and the Fvd get a major surge in seats and force Mark Rutte to either allow them into a government or resign
But sadly that will never happen,but one can always hope
Dutch Politics is cleverly designed. There is an overabundance of left parties, with 2-3 at the top at all times. And once things get hot and people get pissed off the other, then smaller parties suddenly 'reemerge'. People are pissed off at D66 and disappointed by GroenLinks, so now we suddenly see the PvdA make a convenient comeback.

I always thought D66 was more of a centrist/social liberal party instead of a left leaning party?
They usually were fairly centrist, but right now they're more akin to rabid europhiles. Calling for one big EU and an EU army.
They consider themselves liberal and democratic but pissed off a lot of people when they agreed to remove the right to hold a referendum after the big Brexit scare
Their minister also held a big 'anti fake news' campaign paid for by the National TV about big russian fake news scares, which turned out to all be fake news itself
When I read about that and laughed a little bit
Sadly if the EU parliament election is sign,then the PvdA will gain seats again in the next House election
